As so many weddings today take place at night there is frequently no big send-off for the bride and groom. Even more to the point, many couples are loath to leave their own receptions, preferring to while the night away with their closest pals and another cocktail.
For couples looking to make a grand exit, plan the details out in advance of your wedding day so you and your groom can leave in style. Have the master of ceremonies or best man advise all guests of your intentions so everyone can be present for the departure. Decorate the car, carriage, bicycles or whatever for the final exit. And if need be, have a change of attire handy. – XO, Vera
Last year Vera Wang launched the Vera Wang Wedding Collection with FTD. The collection consists of bridal bouquets, centerpieces and other floral décor and personal flowers for a wedding. Couples can chose from three types of designs: Traditionalist, Romanticist and Modernist.
In a video recently posted on Vera Unveiled, Vera talks about the importance of flowers on your wedding day, and how the bouquet you carry is just as important as the gown you wear. Watch it here.
Rachel and Josh planned a beautiful wedding with pretty pink hues in Texas. Her mermaid wedding dress had an extremely soft look and feel, which complemented the overall vintage vibe. The couple worked with a pale pink and ivory palette – seen in the bridesmaids’ dresses and florals – which enhanced the antique look Rachel wanted. You can see their elegant wedding at stylemepretty.com.
