I know. It’s only February. But the Whitney Ports and Tracey Flicks of the world are already crafting cover letters for summer internships, and we want to be at the top of their wish lists. So consider this our hard sell: We are awesome, we have great taste in music and snacks, and we will teach you more about life than a semester abroad. Interns ‘round these parts get to do a lot and see a lot—I mean, there are no walls in our office, so we really don’t have a choice on the latter. If this sounds like the dreamiest way possible way to escape the heat (it’s coming, we swear), click on over here to get the details on how to apply. —claire

Erica's things:

Claire's things:

  • Thinking that the Buzzfeed style guide surely belongs in whatever time capsules people are putting together these days—talk about a zeitgeisty snapshot.

  • Hoping this snow quits soon so I’m not so damn tempted to take advantage of the Minibar app that delivers liquor to your apartment in an hour or less, free of charge. (Drink responsibly, etc., etc.)

  • Wondering if the so-genius storage service Makespace will be the solution to my perennial closet-overflow problems.

  • Relatedly: Solving the issue of where to store the broom and dustpan by finding one that demands to be put on display.

  • Coating my hair in Shu Uemera Essence Absolue daily to fight the dryness and breakage that always plagues me this time of year.
