Each year the American Red Cross community honors veterans, military families and active-duty service members by sending cards and personal messages of encouragement to our heroes around the world.

As families in continue to recover from flooding out West and other disasters, I am so grateful for the ongoing show of compassion and support from individuals like you.

I invite you to share more kindness by participating in the Holiday Mail for Heroes program. Send a card and brighten this time of year for veterans, military families and active-duty service members in hospitals or military installations around the world.
