So here is what Brock told us, re: his pants: “The pink ones are a collaboration between Cactus Store and Shoyoroll, a Japanese karate-uniform company; they did this funny collab of pants and tops. I also got them in green. I have a yellow pair from Eighteen East on Elizabeth Street. I have pleated purple ones from Issey Miyake — I do have a love affair with his pants. Then I have these leopard ones; they’re cheap and cheerful wax-resist print pants from this Senegalese vendor on Seventh Avenue and 10th Street. They were $20; they’re heaven. My other very favorite pair are from YAMMA, they’re made out of this special Japanese cotton. I would rather be expressive with my pants than my tops. Which is maybe not always what people do, but for some reason, there’s something about pant expression — there’s an ability to have more fun with pants. White T-shirt, colored pants. One overarching pants story is they're all comfy, full range of motion — pajama pants that look like they’re not pajama pants. Today I am wearing these black Issey Miyake almost like winter-wool terry-cloth pleated pants which are heaven but they attract so much shmutz. I’ve never had a shmutzier pair of pants in my life.”

In other news: J.Law’s Adidas. A still-in-production cousin (?) to our beloved but difficult-to-procure Chen Taos.
The excellent Takata Nursery (they did the indoor garden in this fabulous apartment of aforementioned Brock Forsblom and Jeremy Heimans) is apparently going to be selling a batch of plants, beginning mid-April. We’re following!

And! We are halfway into Jeans Month over at the Strategist. Two big takeaways: The stylish Emily Holland likes Levi's 509s, a straight-leg style we somehow had never heard of before (she bought them at the Consistency Project in Brooklyn), and the also-very-stylish Delphine Del Val is a fan of the medium-blue Wranglers, which Simone has loved forever: "I have had them for a year, I love them!” she told us. “No stretch. They are perfect."
