Thank you to all of you for the inquiries on the well-being of the Bonobos team.

A quick recap of where we are:

Our New York HQ is located at 45 West 25th Street, near 25th St. and 6th Ave. in Manhattan. We are without power at our offices as it is on the grid which is down. Today our superhero leader Tiffany Poppa, with the assistance of our building’s superintendent, helped us break-in to our fourth and fifth story offices to enable employees to grab their computers, to unplug equipment, and to empty the fridges.

Our @BonobosNinjas are responding to customers as normal, working remotely throughout NYC and from our Palo Alto HQ. One of our Ninjas – Neerali Shah -- had her parents trying to track her down; they could not reach her, but she still managed to post to our Working from Home During Sandy tumblr thread.

Our fulfillment is done out of Massachusetts, and we are grateful to our terrific partner there that business continues as usual and the packages are getting on trucks. There may be downstream issues due to issues on our highways and with planes, but the packages are moving.

Many on our marketing team are holed up at a hotel in midtown on wi-fi, hoping to not get kicked out, and our brand team is running a photo shoot at the only studio still open in Brooklyn so we can get our holiday campaign out on time. So you should continue to see product launches and our holiday programs running as usual.

Many of our employees remain without power. People are walking up to midtown to charge and get wi-fi. Others are moving in with friends and relatives who have power if they can. We're still tallying that everyone is safe and sound, and we know that of our 100+ who work out of our New York offices, more than half are without electricity. We know of more than a few who have suffered a meaningful loss of property with flooded basements and cars, some of whose children are cold in homes lacking energy, others who are not sure how they'll be commuting in given damage to our transit system.

All of which makes us more grateful to know that from what we have heard so far everyone has their livelihood and safety: an early reminder that that's what counts, as always, this holiday season.

Wishing you all the best-- Andy
