At Eagle Creek,
we've been obsessed with making lighter and smarter travel bags since the day we opened our doors. We're all travelers here. We know the
"joy" of sprinting from Gate A3 to Gate Q36 to make a connecting flight.
With spring break just around the corner, we know that every inch, ounce and pound counts. If you're like most travelers today, you
probably want to carry on as often as possible... and you shouldn't have to limit yourself to just a few clothing options. This IS your vacation. So
whether traveling for a long weekend – or taking full advantage of your spring break (which we highly recommend) – we've got some great
tips for you.
Choosing your Carry-On
When picking your carry-on consider weight and organization. What's that? You already have a bag? Then consider if it's up for the
trip. And if it's time, invest in a new bag. Having a dependable, lightweight bag can make a big difference. We recommend checking out the EC Adventure Upright
22, Tarmac 20,
or Load Warrior
Begin by laying out everything you'll need for your trip. Choose clothing that has complementary or neutral tones so that you can
mix-and-match your shirts with corresponding bottoms.
If you're new to Eagle Creek's packing system, here's a good place to start: a Pack-It™ Folder,
some Cubes, and a
Shoe Sac. Use your
folder to fold and compress your nicer garments. Pack Cubes with items you can roll like jeans, t-shirts, underwear and pjs. Drop your shoes into a
Shoe Sac to help protect your shoes and conversely keep your shoes from dirtying your clothes.
A well-packed carry-on can make your journey faster, easier and safer. So choose to carry-on and treat yourself to a grande latte
with that extra money you saved.
