Did you know that Gucci has been helping to digitally restore iconic films, like La Dolce Vita, through its partnership with The Film Foundation for more than six years? Now, we’re giving our support to the next generation of directors with the newly launched Biennale College-Cinema initiative. An advanced workshop realized by la Biennale di Venezia for emerging directors and producers from around the world, the scholarship is geared towards the development and production of micro-budget films. A rigorous selection process will determine three production teams over the course of next year. Those finalists will be eligible for a 150,000-euro grant and have the chance to produce and then present their finished film during the 70th annual Venice Film Festival next fall.
