Hi beautiful !
“I just wanted to have a brand that I would have wanted my mom to have. A brand that I want my daughter to be able to use.”
That’s what I told Crystal Edmonson, host of The Business Journals’ new podcast series, Pathfinders: The Changing Face of Leaders in Business. And I meant just that.
Did you know Black consumers spend about $8,000,000,000 on beauty products every year? Yes, that’s BILLIONS! And at least 75% of those products marketed to Black women contain toxic ingredients 🤯 if that doesn’t blow your mind, it should!
My mom deserved better. My daughter deserves better. Even myself, as the founder of a beauty brand, deserves better. And you definitely do!
It’s why the every product I create is nontoxic and free from the harsh chemicals that are literally killing us. The
Revelation Brow Duo is even 80% organic with ingredients that take it a step further and are GOOD for you.
Listen, I was kicked out of high school and opened my first makeup shop straight out of college! I made my own way in an industry that said women who look like me don’t deserve clean ingredients, an industry that said we weren’t good enough.
I started doing eyebrows at 22 with no idea what I was really doing. If you caught my Instagram live yesterday, I shared a story I’ve never told before - I didn’t even know I needed to be licensed to do brows in the beginning 😂 Don’t worry; I went back to school and got my esthetics license!
I just knew I had to do better for my community and the women who look like me.
Will you join me in making an impact and tell the industry that we ALL WANT nontoxic products that actually work on all complexions? Every brow duo, lipgloss, brow gel, or mascara you purchase is a vote with your dollars in that direction. And I’m taking the next wave of beauty entrepreneurs with me! Are YOU with me?
XOXO,
Kim Roxie
