Stay Healthy by Checking Yourself

For Breast Cancer Awareness month — and every month — do a breast self-exam.

Sometimes, small actions have important repercussions. A significant proportion of breast cancer cases are diagnosed because someone detected a lump during a monthly self-check. Make time for a monthly breast self-exam, especially if you’re genetically predisposed to the disease (yes, men count too!). It never hurts to stay aware and vigilant.
