The screenwriter Dalton Trumbo famously did his best writing in the bathtub. The stirring words "I AM SPARTACUS!" may well have been written while submerged, cigarette and whiskey close at hand. Computers and baths don't play well together, so I just read in one, usually when the New Yorker or Economist arrives. It's my major environmental extravagance. And now Katherine wants to make it "efficient." I am sorry, that is a contradiction in terms.
