My Advice

Vera WangThe shape of the skirt is what determines the look and movement of your wedding dress. There are a few key shapes to choose from: Make a grand impression with a full, gathered skirt or elongate your silhouette with a classic A-line. If you are tall and thin, a circular skirt can be incredibly graceful particularly in a chiffon fabric. If you are curvy, a mermaid shape is extremely flattering but may need a cover-up during more conservative moments such as the ceremony. Finally, I highly recommend a narrow column for a skirt shape that is a sophisticated alternative to a full gown. A floor-length sheath is a nod to eveningwear and is considered quite avant-garde for a wedding dress.

Pink is Romantic

Grean Wedding Shoes Vera Wang

We asked some of the wedding industry's top bloggers and editors to create inspiration boards around Vera Wang's Fall 2014 Bridal Collection.  Jen Cambell of Green Wedding Shoes picked a strapless silk ball gown in rose for her Romanticist-inspired board.  Adding various pink and gold wedding details, brides dreaming of a day filled with romance will fall in love with the items that inspired her.  Check out her inspiration board on Vera Unveiled!

Next up is a Modernist-inspired board by Brooklyn Bride blogger, Vane Broussard.

An English Garden

Vera Wang real wedding Once Wed

There's no shortage of castles in the English countryside, so couples looking to say "I do" in one have their pick to choose from. OnceWed featured a dreamy wedding of one couple who chose Sudeley Castle for their wedding. The bride wore a Vera Wang gown she purchased at Vera Wang at Browns in London, and as you can see in the photo above, used the expansive garden and grounds for their formal wedding portraits.
