The moment I decided to start my podcast it was so much bigger than just picking up the mic and hitting record. It was a huge step to creating my own table.
Starting your own podcast is a statement of no longer waiting to chosen, no longer waiting for someone else to feature you, no longer waiting for someone else to include you, no longer waiting for someone’s seal of approval...and ultimately no longer waiting for permission to use your voice.
It’s part of the reason why IF and only if you’ve had podcasting on your ‘wanna do’ list for a long time then I wholeheartedly encourage you to dip your toe in the water.
And it’s why I’ve created a ‘How To Start a Podcast’ Workshop. It takes place on Wednesday 10th March and its free for Root + Rise members, so you can join the membership and come along to the workshop as well enjoy all of the juicy content + coaching (from monthly group coaching calls, journaling gatherings and EFT sessions) or you can buy it as a stand-alone workshop.
Be warned this is not your average ‘how to start to start a podcast’ workshop.
This is about helping you to remove the barriers that have really stopped you from pressing record from the perfectionism, to the fears around tech to being unsure of what you could talk about.
The only thing this workshop will not give you or solve is ‘time’. For sure I’ll share how it doesn’t have to take over your life and how it probably won’t take as much time up as you think it will. But the truth is that at first podcasting is a learning curve and so you have to decide that it’s what you want to do.
Once you’ve done that you’ll make the time. So IF you’ve decided that yes a podcast is something I want then this workshop is for you.
