I’m Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds, the founder of AmericanFlags.com, and I’m delighted to personally welcome you to our community of patriots.
In 2001, in the wake of one of the darkest and most deeply tragic days in our history, we founded AmericanFlags.com. On September 11th, our nation was forever changed. Americans across the country came together in search of unity and resilience, and during that time, the American flag stood tall as a beacon of hope and a symbol of our collective strength.
Our mission was clear from the start: to provide top-quality, American-made flags that embody the values and ideals we hold dear. We believe that if there’s anything that should be made in America, it’s the American flag. It represents not just a piece of fabric, but the enduring spirit of our nation.
On Patriot Day today, we ask that you join us in honoring the memory of those we lost by lowering your American flag to half-staff. It’s a simple yet profound gesture that reflects our shared commitment to never forget the sacrifices made on that day.
For those who are unable to lower their flags, we offer a heartfelt alternative. A
mourning bow, placed on your flagpole, home, or business, is a symbol of respect and remembrance. It’s a way to visibly honor those who were taken from us too soon.
