#1  Tomatoes

Tomatoes are high in lycopene — an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer qualities that can effectively reduce risk of liver cancer, liver inflammation, and fatty liver disease. 

#2  Sunflower Seeds

Sunflower seeds are a rich source of vitamin E, poly- and mono-saturated fatty acids, protein, and amino acids. Sunflower seeds can support liver health by lowering elevated liver enzymes and maintaining healthy lipid levels.

#3  Limes

Limes contain citric acid which can have positive effects on oxidative stress and tissue injuries. One lime can provide up to 32% of your daily intake of vitamin C which supports liver health.

#4  Peanuts

Peanuts are nutritionally dense and are extremely high in unsaturated fatty acids, bioactive compounds, and protein. Peanuts also contain large amount of fiber and vitamin E which can help the liver regenerate by blocking the RSK (ribosomal s6 kinase) proteins linked to cirrhosis development. 

#5  Cranberries

Cranberries have many liver health benefits! They can improve hepatic inflammation, reduce oxidative stress (imbalance between antioxidants and free radicals in the body), and lower cholesterol.
