Monthly Newsletter

Hello everyone,

We’ve got four great features, one video, and an update to our inFlow Referral Program. This will be a jumbo sized newsletter, so here we go!

Inventory Management Explained

It’s tough to convey the benefits of inventory management without sounding like a walking, talking textbook. That’s why this video from The Finance Storyteller is refreshing.

Philip talks about why every team has a stake in inventory with clear language and straightforward visuals.

If you need to convince others that inventory management is a team sport that benefits everyone, send them this video.

Your approval is important to us

Attention, purchasing teams: Purchase order approvals are now available in inFlow Cloud!

You can now require approvals for purchase orders, as well as specify Approvers with different approval limits. With approvals enabled, purchase orders in the system will have a status of “Unapproved”. Team members will need to request approval prior to emailing or printing an order.

Approvals are only included in Plus plans by default, but get in touch if you’d like to add them to your account.

Purchase quotes (a.k.a. RFQs) are here
Are you shopping around for the best vendor prices? Then you’re going to love inFlow’s new purchase quotes, which are available in all inFlow Cloud plans.

Unlike purchase orders, purchase quotes don’t impact your Quantity on Order (so they don’t affect reordering calculations).

You can email quotes as a Request for Quote (RFQ) document and convert them into purchase orders later.

Mobile limits for picking and receiving
Many of you are using inFlow Cloud for Mobile to pick and receive products, which is great! Thanks to your feedback, we’ve expanded access rights for mobile warehouse work specifically.

You can now restrict team member access to just picking and receiving in the mobile app. This lets your warehouse teams get their work done while reducing the chances of accidental changes to orders.

SKUs are now a separate field
SKUs are now a separate (optional) field for products in inFlow.

The long-term benefit is that SKUs are the industry standard for tracking unique products, and having a SKU field makes it easier to speak the same language as your vendors or buyers.

And if you use integrations and are wondering how SKUs affect them, we've written a support article just for you.

Our Referral Program is 4x better
We’ve just made our referral program four times better.

If you refer someone to inFlow and they subscribe to a new plan, we’ll send you a $200 gift card, and they’ll get one free month added to their account.

Know someone who could benefit from inFlow? Find your referral link in the top-right corner of the web app.

Phew, that was a lot. Thanks for reading, and see you next time!
