Monthly Newsletter

Hi, everyone!

This past month we released label printing for mobile, web stock adjustments, new lists and prioritization for sales orders, as well as a great new article on one-piece flow manufacturing.

Print labels from the mobile app
Ever want to print labels for products as you receive them? Well, now you can!

In March we added support for label printing from inFlow's mobile app on Android and iOS. You'll have many of the same options you have in the web app: choice of label design, printer, and how many copies you'd like to print.

Adjust stock from the web app
You may have noticed a pattern recently: more and more of the Windows-only features are coming to inFlow's web app, and stock adjustments are the latest to make the transition.

You can adjust stock for multiple products at once and manage and review all previous stock adjustments in inFlow.

Alongside this change we've also added a new Reason field to all stock adjustments, so you can explain why a stock adjustment was made with standardized options. If the default reasons don't fit your workflow, you can add your own from the Options screen.

Prioritize sales and see stock availability
You can now see lists of Open, Unpaid, or All orders when you visit your purchases or sales.

But we've added a little more to the Open list of sales orders. While you view the Open list you can prioritize sales orders and drag-and-drop to sort them.

There's also a handy new stock availability column we think you'll love. At a glance you can tell if an order has stock ready, whether you need to order more, or whether you're waiting on an incoming order to arrive.

So check out the new lists for sales and purchase orders in the web app, if you haven't already!

One-piece flow manufacturing
Are you looking at ways to increase efficiency on complicated assemblies? Then you might want to look into one-piece flow manufacturing.

You can reduce waste, maintain or improve quality, and keep your on-hand stock to a minimum.

We dig more into the concept—along with some helpful visuals—in our latest article.
