FLOW (For Love of Water) is a Great Lakes law and policy center dedicated to ensuring the waters of the Great Lakes Basin are healthy, public, and protected for all.
“FLOW is grateful for intentional and socially responsible organizations like Article One and Run As You Are that prioritize the planet and community,” says Liz Kirkwood, Executive Director of FLOW. “It will take great leadership and collaboration from all sectors—business, recreation and fitness, government, academia, front-line advocates, tribal nations, and more—to protect the Great Lakes in the face of the climate crisis and ensure access to safe and affordable drinking water for all.”
Our digital fundraising mission, “Nurture Nature,” consists of three running challenges giving participants the opportunity to raise money for FLOW.
For each mile run, we will contribute a donation of $1, up to $1,000. Runners can also earn varying amounts of discounts to purchase Article One eyewear which, when applied, will prompt a corresponding pledge to FLOW.
The Nurture Nature challenge started on April 16 and concludes on April 22. To register your miles to support the protection of the Great Lakes, groundwater, and drinking water, get started below.
