We've Released Four New Active x Optical Models for our Fall '23 Collection Featuring New and Improved Components
The Article One Active Optical Collection was created to extend the same ethos and design sense of our Active sun collection into the optical category. For this new collection, we are using a new innovative material called GKM, a polymer plastic that has many characteristics making it more desirable than typical optical frames made from acetate. This new material, proprietary to our factory, is lighter, more flexible, and more scratch resistant than acetate, making it the perfect material to use for our Active Optical collection.
Along with the innovative frame material, we have designed and developed new Active nose pads specific for this collection, which accomplish the same grip as our sunglasses while remaining hidden and discrete on smaller optical frames. The Active Optical frames are completed with high quality spring hinges and Active temple tips to assist with grip. Every innovative and thoughtful addition creates a frame that can be worn from the start of the day to the end and every activity in between.
