Hi there,

Mindfulness is a practice that can be useful for many people. It involves focusing on being aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment.

This can be accomplished through various techniques such as breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind. Mindfulness has been shown to help reduce stress, and it can also be used to improve overall well-being.

When Covid hit the winter of 2020, I started noticing some changes in my body. I would miss the ball when playing ping pong with my boys and I realized that my mind had adapted and my left eye was doing all the work while my right eye seemed to be going blind.

I didn’t make much of it at first, but as time went on, I started to worry that something more serious was going on. (You can read the whole story here at WisdomFeed!)

In 1985, I had the opportunity to work with Ram Dass on a fundraiser for the Seva Foundation. Seva's primary purpose is to provide cataract surgeries for those going blind in India. Having experienced firsthand what it is like to lose your sight due to a cataract, I was eager to help in any way I could.

The event was a great success and we were able to raise a significant amount of money for the foundation. It was an incredible experience to work with such an inspiring person and to be a part of something that was truly making a difference in the world.
