Hi -,
I sent an email earlier today about the new Beya Made Spring collection and made a mistake. The typography of the e-mail inferred that Passover was a lesser holiday than Easter, which was a big mistake on my part. I apologize for the hurt this caused any of you.
I have decided to donate a portion of proceeds from this collection to The Blue Dove Foundation, an Atlanta-based nonprofitcreated to address the issues of mental illness and addiction in the Jewish community and beyond. The American Jewish community experienced the highest level of antisemitic incidents last year since tracking began in 1979, with more than 2,100 acts of assault, vandalism and harassment reported across the United States, according to new data from Anti Defamation Leage.
As always, thank you so much for taking the time to read my words, and I promise that I will take more care with my words. I hope this upcoming holiday season is joyful for you and your families, no matter the tradition in which you celebrate!
With love always,
Laurel
