This is why the industry hates me

Like I said yesterday, there will always be haters.

And the fitness industry HATES when I give away SECRETS.

They want you to pay to get their "secret" workout program.

I just want you to make progress and be happy.

After all, that became my goal after my brother died in 2013 - to change one life every day through fitness.



Rocket science, right? 

But it's really that simple. 

The human body adapts to the stresses we put on it (workouts) within a few weeks.

That's why in every program we have, we change the workout style every 2-4 weeks.

How do you do that right now though?
  • Change the number of reps: 
    • If you're doing low reps, start doing high reps for 3-4 weeks.
    • If you're doing high reps, switch it up and do some low reps, like 5x5's and toss some extra weight on there to work different muscle fibers.
  • Change the style of training: When I was in my best shape, I was so striated from all the extra athletics I was doing, it was a joke. I didn't just strength train, or mass train - I did things like:
    • resistance band workouts
    • kettle bell swings
    • kettle bell push-ups
    • body weight dips
    • Inverted body weight rows
    • battle ropes
    • body weight step ups
    • sprints
  • Change your tempo: If you're doing a normal rep tempo in the gym or at home, try changing that to:
    • Time under tension reps: 3 seconds down, 1 second hold, 3 seconds up
    • Negative focused reps: 3-5 seconds down, quick pause, 1 second up
    • Pause reps: 1 second down, 2-3 second pause, 1 second up

We're all so concerned about our numbers.

"I gotta bench 225-lbs"

"I gotta squat 415"

Fuck that.

I'd rather LOOK like the guy that benches 400-lbs and squats 500-lbs, than just be able to brag about those numbers.

When you realize that numbers don't matter and the guys with the best physiques in the world aren't pushing the heaviest weight, it's a game changer.

I got back to the gym here in Texas two days ago after doing resistance band workouts daily. I didn't lose an ounce of strength!

Now that you've ditched your ego, you can focus on Item Number 1, above (changing your routine).


Bad diet = no results in the gym.

"Eating healthy" = maybe some results in the gym, but will definitely plateau.

"Free macro calculator on random website" = destined to fail

If you have a high performance car, you don't put crap gasoline in it, do you?


You put the high octane shit in so that it runs the way it was designed to.

Your body and the food you eat works the same way.
