Have Questions? We’ve Got Answers! This Week’s Customer Q&A
Thank you for reaching out! It’s great to connect with you. The first piercing should always be done with titanium or surgical implant-grade metal to ensure safety, reduce irritation, and promote proper healing.Let me know if I can help with anything else ? Also you can check out our blog for more material information:https://bodyjewelry.com/blog/guide-to-piercing-jewelry-materials/
Thanks @draxs.ink @bodyjewelryco
A helix piercing takes about 6 months to a year to fully heal. You should never change the jewelry until it’s completely healed. For downsizing or installing new jewelry during the healing process, it’s important to return to your piercer to ensure it’s done properly.
Irritation bumps are common and can be caused by inadequate cleaning, improper jewelry, or snagging. Clean the piercing 2-3 times a day and gently pat it dry with a paper towel. If the bumps persist, you can use no-pull discs to help reduce them.
