These last few days have felt very Spring-like for February, we hope you are enjoying the sunshine and the appearance of the first snowdrops!
In this month's newsletter we've got an update on our Limited Edition Weather Clocks and we talk to Frank Newbold, runner up on last year's BBC 2 Interior Design Masters about his Weather Clock.
Limited Edition Clocks - Available tomorrow
Due to Covid reasons we have experienced some delays in the workshop relating to our Limited Edition Weather Clocks. However, our wonderful team at the workshop have been busy hand-assembling these designs and they will be available on the website from TOMORROW morning. If you have signed up to email alerts via the green tab on the product page, you'll get an email to advise you as well.
We didn't quite get our Traditional Weather Clock with designs by Peter McDermott built in February, but these will be available in March.
We talk to Interior Designer Frank Newbold about his Weather Clock...
This month we caught up with Frank Newbold, Interior Designer and runner up on the BBC 2 series 'Interior Design Masters' (which has recently returned to our screens - have you been watching?).
Frank lives in Brighton in a rented property and his Weather Clock sits in his studio at work. It hosts a dried flower wall where tumbling orchids, poppy heads and dried eucalyptus hang and frame the clock beautifully.
Since appearing on the hit TV show last year, Frank has taken on several residential and commercial projects both in the UK and abroad but he also lived in India for six months, reigniting his passion for pattern and colour.
Frank also told us that the average British person spends the equivalent of four and half months of their life talking about the weather!! We can certainly believe that!
