Bramwell Brown Bulletin

Hello everyone,

This month's bulletin is a hard one for us to write, as it's to tell you about the loss of our friend and workshop colleague, Darren Heath. Darren had been making clocks for Bramwell Brown since we moved to Havant in 2016.

If you're the owner of a Bramwell Brown Weather Clock or Tide Clock, it is a certainty that he had at least something to do with its assembly, testing or dispatch. And he will, of course, have been very proud of each and every clock he handled.

The good relationships that we make through our work is what motivates us.  And Darren was always a joy to work with. His calm and affable attitude being just what you needed when issues had to be solved or deadlines were tight. He also loved fishing, setting up camp for the day at a picturesque angling spot and waiting for a nibble on the line. If we had ever designed a fisherman's clock he would have no doubt been very pleased to make them.

At Bramwell Brown, the intimation that our clocks tell, not just the 'time of day,' but also count the 'passing of time' is not lost on us. And we're sure that you would agree that it is moments like this that remind us to cherish what we have today, in case it is not with us tomorrow.

So the workshop will be closed tomorrow whilst we remember Darren and celebrate his life. And, if you have a moment, perhaps you can think of him, too, whilst you look up at your clock to check the sunshine, rain or high or low tide.

With all our best wishes,

Rob & Sarah
Re-loved Clocks back next week...
Re-Loved Weather Clocks are back next week. Re-Loved Clocks are Weather Clocks that have come back to the workshop for refurbishment after customer exchanges, returns, photoshoots, press events and other adventures.

They are discounted to well below their usual price tag even though many will have no discernible signs of their previous life. This means they offer great value and also support our efforts to reduce waste by not throwing out parts that could normally not be re-used. Set your alarms, as these clocks will go fast... and when they're gone, they're gone.

Stock is available to buy on Tuesday 2nd May at 12 noon on the Bramwell Brown website.

Seasonal Summer Faces... coming soon

Just a little heads up that on the back of our successful seasonal faces (Autumn, Christmas and Spring) we now have 'Summer Seasonal faces' launching soon to complete your seasonal set! Keep your eyes peeled on our socials and we'll advise of their release date in due course.
Have a good weekend...
