You have a lot to celebrate!

In early December, we asked you to help give 5,000 families the gift of clean water. We knew this milestone would honor the legacy of our friend Helen Apio, a woman from northern Uganda whose community experienced development and newfound hope after receiving clean water in 2009. Helen taught us that generosity doesn’t require riches, only a giving spirit—a spirit that has consistently moved our supporters to do incredible things.

At the time, it seemed like an audacious goal. But fifteen years into our fight to end the water crisis, we’ve learned to expect great things from our generous supporters around the world. And as always, you amazed us.

In the month of December, our global community gave $1,880,812 to clean water. 100% of these donations will go directly to funding clean water projects, which means a better future for 7,233 families!

Clean water gives families the resources they need to flourish. Without the daily walk for water or the risk of waterborne diseases, children will be able to attend school full time. Moms and dads will have time to start new businesses, shaping a better future for the next generation. With clean water, everything changes.
