NEWSLETTER #6 Jan-Feb 2019 Your Own Coding Game Last year, I told you about our project to make our game engine, the sdk, available to you. We've been using it to create the community contest games. What if you could create your own coding game without our help? It's now possible! Any game built with the sdk can now be uploaded to CodinGame. Hi! I hope you've had time to try a coding puzzle or two - but did you know CodinGame also has multiplayer coding games? Who would have thought? 😅 The majority of them are found in the bot programming section: multiplayer AI battles. I know you are thinking “But I have no idea how to program an AI.” Well, trust me, it’s really not that complex. Just start with a simple (even dumb) strategy and iterate from there. All the games available on the platform have been the subject of international coding competitions that we call contests. We organize contests every 2 months or so. Another opportunity to get more coding points for the global leaderboard...
