πŸ’™β˜• A decluttering question that matters a lot

End the guilt about "stuff"

Hello and welcome back to Declutter Fast

When you take the time to sort out your "stuff," certain questions matter!

Here's one of those questions:

"Do I like this item?"

Let's just forget everything else for a minute.

Do you even LIKE that object?

If not, then it's draining you every time you look at it.

So get rid of it, and make getting rid of it easy.

For example...

You have a certain item and you feel guilty unless you donate it or whatever.

Just ask yourself, does the world already have millions of these available for someone who is looking for it?

If so, then you're doing the world a small favor by not adding to the pile.

You can toss it out and there's no need to feel guilt. Guilt is just one more negative experience.

The point of getting rid of things you don't even like is to not only have a better home, but to feel better.

So I suggest you reject any and all negative thoughts that creep into this process!

Something has to happen to this object. Either it stays in your home dragging you down, or it gets a trip to the donation place, or it gets sold in a yard sale (more time, trouble, and effort for you).

You're not obligated to worry so much about it or let that object take up any more of your time.

You can't make it disappear, so you have to do something, one way or another.

Make getting rid of clutter as easy and guilt-free as possible!

Feeling better and happier is the goal!
