Hello and welcome back to Declutter Fast
Decluttering is ultra important, but what about when it's difficult?
Either you start with the best of intentions, and a few hours later, think that everything is more messed up than before -
Or you can't get started because something is holding you back.
Either way, this causes you to feel worse about the prospects of getting where you want to be.
And you tell yourself that you're procrastinating.
Is that the real answer, or not?
The goal, intention, and wish are all there.
Labels like "procrastinator" are not helping.
There are times in life when we are brimming with motivation -
And other times when we can't find motivation with a magnifying glass.
The trick is to solve this problem.
Your home can make you happy every day.
Let me make this easier than you ever dreamed possible.
How To Get Everything Done
I created How To Get Everything Done because I had this nagging belief.
I can't stop believing that "stuff" and "things to do" is not supposed to be grueling.
I believe that there is a way to be compelled to do what will make you happy.
I truly believe you can sail right through anything and feel happy about it.
I also believe that we all must work WITH ourselves, not against ourselves.
We're to be our own best friend, and that means loving ourselves where we are.
That means not going through life thinking we are supposed to be something else.
Even when I was a child, I had this idea that I should be someone else.
I remember school years where I told myself, "This year, I'm going to be a different person."
"I'm going to have a different image."
I'd buy new school clothes and vow to change my whole personality.
I wanted to be like the kids who seemed to have it easy. The ones everyone liked and admired.
Well, that was just as much a crock of you-know-what then as it is now.
But I didn't know that then.
In fact, it took me years to figure that out.
Now, I don't think that way.
Don't think I don't get resistance almost every day to being myself.
Society pushes you to do certain things.
Business tells you what the "smart, successful" people do.
I don't know about you, but I get sick of hearing about what I should do and be.
If you want to be happy, you have to be true to yourself and like yourself just the way you are.
Maybe the world doesn't "reward" that, but the only opinion that really counts is your own!
That's the foundation of my advice in How To Get Everything Done.
Work with yourself, not against yourself, when it comes to organizing your life and your time.
I hope to see you there!
