The dreaded mountain of paper
Hello and welcome back to your Declutter Fast Newsletter

The two toughest types of clutter are... (drumroll)...

All the paper. And all the things made out of cloth.

Because there's a lot of both.

I just finished Round One of sorting through a lot of enveIopes. A family member was recently in the hospital.

If there's one thing I dread, it's figuring all that out. I have a serious mental block when it comes to medical mail.

Dealing with paper is, for me, by far the biggest clutter challenge.

The Four-Pass Method in my book helps a lot with that.

So does my method for sorting and organizing paper.

I don't have a big dining table. It's actually "fairy tea party" sized at the moment.

So I sort the paper on a bed. That way I can stand up.

I put music on. Or I put a favorite movie on (that I can hear from the next room) that I know very well, so I can follow it without looking at the screen.

That gets me jazzed and energized and that makes it fun.

Having the paper in life in order is *really* being in control.

Why not make that your goal this year - to get all the paper in your life completely in order?

That will give you great peace of mind.

We'll talk about the clothes and towels next time.

Every effort we make adds up and gets us closer to being totally organized.

Let me help you reach your goal to get a beautiful, uncluttered home.
