Hello and welcome back to Declutter Fast

The most important room to declutter is NOT the kitchen.

Yes, it's the bathroom.

Because the bathroom is highly personal.

It's where you clean YOU.

It's the room of self-respect!

If the bathroom is not okay, then you will not feel okay.

Best of all, this is the easiest room to get in order!

A small room like the bathroom MIGHT take you a few hours to declutter.

Then again, it might not.

The biggest challenge is in relocating stuff.

Or better yet - throwing stuff away.

Old stuff!

Do you collect little soaps and shampoos?

Time to put them in a little basket - and throw some out if you have too many.

Take them to a shelter when you're in the area.... they need soaps and shampoos!

Too many little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, mini-this, mini-that...

That's just more you have to take care of!

If you're not using it on your body now, why save it?

It's taking up space. AND you have to think about it when you see it - and that takes up MENTAL space.

Let it go.

Declutter and clean your bathroom. Yes, you may go out and get new towels and rugs!

Blame it on me! Have fun with it!

This goes with reading my book, Declutter Fast!

P.S. From readers:

I just read my first newsletter. This very day I am going to start on the clothes, towels, etc. Thanks for sparking this eagerness to tackle an almost life-long problem. -- J.

Thank you so much for being you, Mimi Tanner. I want so bad to have no clutter in my home, but always feel that I'm on a treadmill when I try to keep it decluttered. I'll keep trying till I draw my last breath, but doubt that I'll ever get the job completely done. At least one room in my house will always have boxes of things that I just HAVE to keep, worth nothing at all. Love to you and all the people you are doing so much for. Keep up the good work.

- Joan

Dear Mimi,

I look forward to your Newsletter! It's so easy to accumulate "things." Parting with them is another story! Now that everyone has become a "picker," we need to "just say no" sometimes to the cool stuff we come across. We can't and shouldn't keep it all.

Dear Mimi,

You are so Inspirational. You have made me get rid of not only items lying around the house creating chaos, but also negative thoughts. Now I see a clean beautiful home and think positive thoughts.

- Eve
