πŸ’™β˜• Why Clutter Is Good

Clutter is a blessing, really.

Hello and welcome back to your Declutter Fast Newsletter

I have an interesting "exercise" for you today.

It's an exercise of the imagination.

But it comes with a big warning that it might be a little TOO effective.

Here we go:

Imagine that suddenly - you don't have to do any of the things that are annoying or stressful.

Yes, that's right - you don't have to do one more thing.

You don't have to spend another minute listening to "on hold" music for ten minutes, then getting disconnected..

You don't have to make your weekly food shopping chore.

You don't have to worry about any cluttered area in your home or storage space at all.

You don't have to even do any cleaning.

In fact, you couldn't even if you wanted to.

Wherever you were in your projects - that's it - you're not going to continue - and it's actually all right.

The world doesn't come to an end. Things get taken care of. It all gets worked out.

In fact, suddenly you feel better than ever.

You feel like you've just had the deepest and most restful sleep of your entire life.

People you haven't seen in years - even some you never met before - are welcoming you with love to a whole new life.

Who are they? Your ancestors. Because you are no longer in this earthly world.

That's why you don't have to deal with the clutter or projects any longer.

You literally can't. It's now impossible to do one more thing on those projects.

You get what I'm saying here? I trust I don't have to spell it out for you.

But wait, you say. Wait wait wait!

That's a lovely scenario, Mimi, but I'm not yet ready to stop what I'm doing!

I'm even okay with working on the clutter and the pain-in-the-rear projects and errands.

Really. I love being here and I can keep going for as long as possible.

Is that how you feel? I feel the same way.

Life is truly wonderful. The simple things.

Just the other morning I was driving around, loving my surroundings with a passion, listening to about 8 Beatles songs in a row on the radio; it was a cool but perfect Spring day; it doesn't get any better than that.

It's pretty much heaven on earth most of the time.

And projects are blessings; so is clutter. It is a challenge that can be met.

That's why clutter issues and getting-things-done issues are good.

They challenge us and teach us.

Solving these problems makes us better at solving other problems.

It seems impossible - but it can be done - and done gratefully!

And afterwards, it feels SO good to see your results.
