Every two years the Olympic Games ignite the world for two weeks of thrilling competition and athletic artistry. For nearly a century now, the tradition of the Olympic torch and flame has been a universal symbol of the Games. With the ancient Olympics, fire had divine connotations, as the Greeks believed fire was stolen from the gods by Prometheus, and they kept the flame burning during the Games to honor Zeus.
With Russia hosting the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, we've witnessed more symbolism in the sleek design of their torch. Its form combines motifs from Russian folklore and technological innovations. Once the 2014 flame was lit in Greece, it then passed among 14,000 torch bearers, crossing 9 time zones, visiting the North Pole to ride with reindeer, rising into the sky by hot air balloon and even venturing into space, and finally completed its 65,000 km (39,000 mi) journey arriving at the Olympic stadium in Sochi, Russia to signal the start of the games.
The flame will burn the duration of 98 events in 15 different sports, inspiring the energy of competition and the warmth of global unity. To join in the celebration, eFoods wants to add the warmth and life of InstaFire to your home preparations. Enjoy the 2014 Winter Olympic coverage knowing your family has gold-winning preparations!

Spicy Chili Meatloaf
Erin from Pennsylvania admits her love for meatloaf may seem unusual, but she enjoys the endless flavor experiments the basic recipe can handle. The easiest way to spice up her traditional loaf was to add an eFoods Chili and Dumplings chili packet. The result was a delicious hit.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease medium loaf pan and set aside.
Mix ground beef, chili packet, eggs, milk, cheese, onions, bell peppers, carrots and bread crumbs in large bowl until well blended. Shape meat into medium loaf pan. Bake 60 minutes in lower half of oven. At 45 minute mark, pour tomato sauce on top. Cook last 15 minutes with sauce. Remove from oven. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite mixed vegetables.
