FIT TRICKS BY FITTRACK: SETTING INTENTIONS TO REACH GOALS

Before you tune me out and say that you don’t believe in the power of intentions, just give me a chance! Intentions are guiding principles for how you want to show up in the world and what things you want to manifest in your life.

You have roughly 70,000 thoughts a day, and about 90% of these thoughts are unconscious, meaning they pop up on their own. Setting intentions consciously helps you cut through the noise and reach your goals faster.

So how do you do it?

Choose a situation where you want to achieve a desired outcome, and consider these three factors: w
here, when, and how.

For example, say you want to start working out as soon as your workday is complete.

Where: I will place my workout clothes neatly on my bed.
When: Right at the end of my workday.
How: At 4 pm each day, I will change into my workout clothes and complete my workout.

Deciding on these three things beforehand helps make your intent to complete a task much simpler because you've set yourself up for success before you even get started!
