Here are the answers to the last few hair removal questions. Thanks for submitting and let us know if any other hairy questions come up.
Is there a form of waxing that does not involve strips?
YES! There is a "hard" wax. Once applied it becomes pliable and when pulled off, will remove hair from the root. These are generally used by professionals but work great when applied in small sections at a time.
>>Shop Hard Wax Does hair appear thicker after waxing, shaving or epilating?
Only with shaving does hair have the appearance of being thicker. Hair naturally grows with a thin tip, shaving leaves the hair with a blunt thick tip making it look like it's growing in thicker. Epilators and waxing remove the hair completely to the root. The more you do this, the hair will begin to grow back thinner over time.
Does hair removal wax expire?
There is not a set expiration date for hair removal wax. The main concern when deciding to discard a wax is how sanitary it has been kept. If you take care of it, the wax should last until the container is empty, 6-8 months pending how often you use it. Always keep the wax covered and never double dip an applicator.
For beginners, what is the best area to start or practice waxing and epilating?
Start with your legs. The skin is tougher making it less painful and you'll be able to see exactly what you're doing with more control.
Hope you have a fun and hair-free spring!
