Melinda French Gates takes minority stake in Seattle Kraken hockey team

Melinda French Gates, the billionaire philanthropist, and the ownership group for the Seattle Kraken announced Monday that French Gates is skating aboard as a minority investor in the NHL team. French Gates, above left with One Roof Sports and Entertainment majority owner Samantha Holloway, called herself “a big believer in the power of sports" and said to Kraken fans, "See you in the deep."
