After changing to winter tyres, the unused summer tyres should be stored correctly so that they do not suffer any damage. While complete wheels are stacked horizontally on top of each other on a rim beam, rimless tyres should always be placed on the tread and turned regularly to avoid imbalance.
Mark the tyres with FR for "front right", RL for "rear left" etc. and ensure that the floor in the storage area is dry and clean, as oil or solvents can damage the tyre rubber. You should also make sure that the temperature in the storage room never drops below freezing.
