Tips & Tricks: Preparing for the dark time of year

When the tyre is no longer able to displace the water on the road, a kind of padding forms between the tyre and the road surface. The tyre loses its grip and the driver loses control of his vehicle.
Tips for aquaplaning behaviour:
- Foot off the accelerator pedal!
- Push the clutch through!
- Keep the steering wheel still!
Make sure that your tyres still have sufficient tread, already from a tread depth of 4 millimetres, tyres lose their anti-aquaplaning properties.
