Carb intake has been up for debate for a while now. Many diets restrict carbs or ban them completely. In order to optimize carb intake, some people now cycle their carbohydrates. This process is known as carb cycling. Carb cycling is a process in which you alternate carb intake on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. It's commonly used to lose fat, maintain physical performance when dieting, or to overcome a weight loss plateau. You can program your carb intake based on a variety of factors, including body composition goals, training and rest days, special events or competitions, type of training, and/or body fat levels.
