Guernsey may be small in size but it packs a punch when it comes to events and festivals throughout the year.

Barely a month goes by without something exciting happening in the field of culture, sports, leisure or entertainment, and visitors are always welcome to get involved beside locals.

Liberation Day
On 9th May 2024 Guernsey will mark 79 years since their Liberation from occupation by German forces in WWII and there will be celebratory and memorial events taking place across the island, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.

Spring Walking Festival
From 25th May to 9th June Guernsey will be awash with walkers, strollers, ramblers and hikers of all abilities. From short town jaunts to lengthy coastal routes, guided walks are offered on a range of subjects.

Battle of Britain Air Display
Taking place on 13 June 2024, the Battle of Britain Air Display turns the skies above St. Peter Port into a stage for Lancasters, Spitfires, Hurricanes and the famous RAF Red Arrows.

The West Show
Celebrating more than 100 years, The West United Agricultural and Horticultural Show is a big event in Guernsey's summer calendar and offers entertainment for all ages across the 14th and 15th August.
