If you hit a search for “manage time,” it has almost 40,500 monthly searches on Google versus “make more money” that has about 1900. As our jobs have become ever more dependent on online connectivity and technology, more of us are losing control over our time. And we would rather have that than make more money! Unpredictability, being “always-on,” and managing multiple tasks (including home chores) is stressing us out. Most of us manage our time reactively, making choices based on the needs that land on our desks. But are we really making deliberate choices about what really needs to get done?

To Manage Your Time Better, Know Who to Ignore

Pro tip: Know that your attention and focus are finite things.
