Metamorphosis (2020), by the Institute of Queer Ecology

Watch Metamorphosis (2020), a 3-part film proposal by the Institute of Queer Ecology to restructure how the world is imagined and how it operates today, based on the life stages of holometabolous insects. Episodes are released on a weekly basis on dis.art.

Spaceship Earth (2020), Matt Wolf

Spaceship Earth is the true adventure story of eight visionaries who spent two years quarantined in Biosphere 2, a self-engineered replica of Earth’s ecosystem. This documentary is made available to Guggenheim audiences through a partnership with NEON as part of the film’s virtual theatrical release.

At-Home Art Class with the Guggenheim
Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, and Collage
   Sessions for grades 2–8
   Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 3 and 4 pm

Explore images of the museum’s architecture, collection, and special exhibitions through guided dialogue and art-making prompts.

Sketch with Jeff
   Wednesdays and Saturdays, 3 pm

Twice a week, Guggenheim teaching artist Jeff Hopkins shares stories through drawing, followed by a prompt to create sketches of your own at home.

Little Guggs
   For families with children 2–4 years old
   Saturdays, 11 am

In this 45-minute hands-on, active program, little art lovers and their families can discover and make art together, even if they cannot be in the same place physically.

Inside the Beat with Les Ballet Afrik

During New York City Pride, Omari Wiles, Vogue Ballroom legend and founding father of the Royal House of Oricci, presents Les Ballet Afrik dancers and Oricci family members teaching lessons on Works & Process Instagram Live.
