CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT IN VICTORY GALLERY

Experience an enchanting evening of Christmas carols with the Southsea Community Choir, set in the stunning Victory Gallery overlooking the Dockyard.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxed evening with loved ones or a joyful night out with friends, this concert promises a heartwarming mix of traditional and folk Christmas songs. And of course, no festive event is complete without a choice of tasty treats including mulled wine and mince pies to keep you in the festive mood. There are limited spaces available, so pre-booking is essential.

Join the Victorian crew of HMS Warrior for carols, crafts, and a special visit from Father Christmas. Step aboard the festively decorated HMS M33 and HMS Alliance for even more Christmas cheer.
Finally, enter the Tudor court for a festive feast with Henry VIII, Queen Catherine, and the Boleyn sisters, where Tudor traditions, games, and lively entertainment bring royal intrigue and merriment to life!

CREATE YOUR OWN TUDOR STYLE "KISSING BOUGH"

Join us this December at the Mary Rose Museum to create a Tudor Christmas kissing bough! In a 90-minute workshop, craft your own greenery bough with holly, ivy, and seasonal fruits, then personalize it with a special item. Includes all materials and a guided museum tour. Perfect for festive fun with family, friends, or colleagues!

Explore the magical world of a Tudor Christmas this festive season with curator, Hannah Matthews, as she takes you on journey through Christmases past, discovering how the men of the Mary Rose would have celebrated the yuletide season. This specialist talk will include a glass of mulled wine and will be followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum.
