Over the coming months we have a variety of events coming up to suit everyone. Whether you are looking to brush up on your history, get to grips with our collection or experience one of our impressive events then we have something for you.

Collections Uncovered: Behind the Scenes Tour

20th June 2024 11am-12pm

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the Fleet Air Arm Museum? Join one of the Curators for a chance to see some of the collections not currently on display to the public and find out how the museum cares for the thousands of items held in its collection stores. 

Military Vehicle Trust Show

6th-7th July
Free with a museum ticket 

Join us as the Fleet Air Arm Museum welcomes local members of the Military Vehicle Trust for an impressive display of military vehicles on the museum’s green.

 

As well as getting up close to these vehicles, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with vehicle owners and learn more about each vehicle on display. 

Conservation In Action – Behind The Scenes Tour

5th September 2024

Tours at 10.30am and 2pm 

£30 per person  

Join the museum’s Principal Conservator of Naval Aircraft Dave Morris on an enlightening two-hour tour as you find out about the incredible conservation and restoration work that goes on behind the scenes.  

Christmas Concert under Concorde

12th-13th December 7.30pm 
£20 per ticket

(Includes refreshments)

We know it’s only June, but it’s never to talk early to talk about Christmas. Our Christmas Concert is one of the top events on our calendar and due to high demand we have decided to add an extra night.

 

So come along and hear the HMS Heron Royal Navy Volunteer Band under Concorde 002 in Hall Four as they preform several classics and festive numbers for the occasion.
