We know it's tempting but spotlights aren't the best lighting to install. They are too Bright, very boring, and use a huge amount of energy when over installed. You won't ever switch them on. Instead, opt for these alternatives.

Go for bars or a row of mini pendants in your kitchen. The light should be hung high so that you get an even spread and you aren't working in a shadow.
