Italian hunters at the turn of the 20th Century went north to Tuscany and came back in droves with a new favorite jacket—a style worn by Northern Italian ranchers and cowboys. Inspired by that original, Capalbio has been making their own shirt jackets and blazers in Italy since the 1940s. To us, they’re the perfect travel layers—in lightweight canvas or linen with an unstructured style, they’re super comfortable for long trips. And with a design that’s undeniably badass, there’s just something about ‘em that says you’re the kinda guy who’s seen a little bit more of the world than most. ALLORA

Unfortunately for old-school knights who clunked around wearing heavy chainmail, Kevlar® wasn’t developed ‘til the 1960s—a fiber with an insanely high strength-to-weight ratio, making it 5x stronger than steel. Recently, our buddies over at Flint and Tinder decided to combine this durable material with Japanese Kaihara denim to engineer their toughest, longest-lasting jeans yet. They might be stealthily flexible, but the hardwearing material was built to take a beating and unlike most pairs, they actually get better with wear—holding up to years of hard work in the garage and motorcycle rides down the coast.
