A free and open-source browser extension, Refined Zapier, has launched that makes it easier to search and navigate Zapier.

More:

  • The free extension's features include:
    • Hover cards helping you quickly see Zap details
    • Folder search functionality
    • The ability to track changes with commit messages to see why edits were made by your team
    • Blockers to prevent unnamed Zaps
    • Style improvements
  • As the team is still waiting on approval, the extension is not yet available in the Chrome Web Store so you have to install it manually for the time being.
  • You can install it by downloading the Chrome Extension Zip, opening the "Extensions" page (chrome://extensions/) in the browser, turning on "Developer mode," clicking "Load unpacked extension" under Settings > Extensions, and selecting the refined-zapier/ subfolder of this repo.
  • The project was inspired by Refined GitHub, an extension that makes it easier to navigate the version control platform GitHub.

Obviously AI, a no-code tool you can use to quickly create and run AI models, moved out of beta and raised $3.6M in seed funding. The company will use the funds towards investing in growth and adding additional time series and other algorithms, while building an integration ecosystem capable of automating its predictive AI capabilities further.

More:

  • After users connect the tool to their databases, they then pick the value they want to predict and Obviously AI generates an AI model to predict these outcomes in less than a minute without needing to code. The company claims to have saved its customers over 13.8 million hours of manual data science work.
  • Obviously AI will also use the funds to invest in research and development and to expand the marketing and sales teams.
  • The round was led by early-stage seed fund TMV. B Capital Group, Golden Gate Ventures, Arka Venture Labs, Makerpad founder Ben Tossell, and other notable angel investors also participated.
  • Obviously AI was ranked as one of the top AI no-code tools of 2020 by Towards Data Science.
