Hello, Craft Enthusiast!

Special Offers from Our Trusted Partners

Dear Interweave Knitting Subscriber,

With summer winding down, now is the perfect time to explore yarns and tools for your upcoming fall projects. Check out the new yarns below from some of our favorite partners – Oomingmak Musk Ox Producers Co-operative and Plymouth Yarn.  Inspiration and step-by-step instructions can also be found in the offerings from Penguin Publishing. Make sure you also take a look at all the stops in the 9 night tour from Irish Tourism.

Happy Knitting!
The Interweave Knitting Team

Oomingmak is an Alaskan Native owned knitting Co-Operative. Our handknit products are made from the undercoat of the wild musk ox, called qiviut. Qiviut is a rare fiber that is 8 times warmer than wool and does not shrink or itch.

While the mission of the Co-Op is to sale the garments made by the members, we sell some yarn and fiber for the adventurous fiber artist.

Pictured above: 1) Cap Kit – 2oz. worsted weight 100% qiviut yarn (comes with patterns), 2) 1oz. bags of Raw Qiviut, 3) 1oz. Bleached lace weight blend of 80% qiviut & 20% silk.

This tour promises to bring you the best of Ireland’s knitting heritage, culture, and sightseeing as we tour Ireland and attend Ireland’s biggest yarn festival, Woollinn. Spend three days in the Dublin area to enjoy the show and see some of the region’s best attractions. Explore the historic Boyne Valley and enjoy a workshop with Sandra from Crafts of Ireland. On the northern part of the tour, we will visit Donegal, seeing the famous Slieve League Cliffs and Glencolmcille Folk Village, then travel to Derry to explore this historic city and partake in a workshop with leading Irish designer Edel MacBride.
