In memory of Matt Vecere
On March 10, 2019, IQAir lost a dear friend in Matt Vecere, who worked for our organization as a writer and communications specialist, in the tragic Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash that took the lives of 157 people.

Matt was so much more than an employee and a coworker to us: he had an unshakeable sense of humor, and a contagious passion for serving the people in Haiti whose lives were changed forever after the 2010 earthquake.

Last April, we told you Matt’s story and humbly requested that you give a small donation to Sustainable Orphanages for Haitian Youth, a charity dedicated to housing and educating children left orphaned by the quake, and an organization that Matt supported.

You all came through in a huge way – in the months since we asked you to donate, Sustainable Orphanages for Haitian Youth has raised over $35,000 for construction, plumbing, electricity, wages for all the staff and teachers who work at the orphanage, and much much more.

It’s all thanks to your generosity and the time you took to learn about Matt’s life and his impact on the children of Haiti.

And this Giving Tuesday, we humbly ask you again – while you visit the page and see what your generosity has done for these children, please consider donating to keep the momentum going and to keep Matt’s legacy alive and well.

DONATE TODAY

Sincerely,

Your IQAir Team
