Teaching kids about what makes good character is so important. At Kiddie Academy^® Educational Child Care, character education is one of our fundamental principles and we believe it should begin with our youngest learners. We are committed to sharing resources with parents to help extend that learning at home. 

We’ve got a really fun resource for you from our partners at PBS KIDS. Their hit series, “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum,” follows the adventures of three friends as they tackle everyday problems by doing something extraordinary: travelling back in time to learn from real-life inspirational figures when they were kids. They recently launched a fun, educational game called Xavier Riddle Museum Maker which is an exciting exploration game for kids ages 4-7. 

Gameplay meets social-emotional education 

The Xavier Riddle Museum Maker game takes a fun and educational approach to gaming. The game teaches kids about some of history’s most iconic figures, while exploring socio-emotional themes and character traits such as courage and resilience. The game also helps kids learn how they can set and accomplish goals.  

A great way to Learn On^®  

The Xavier Riddle Museum Maker is a great fit with our Kiddie Academy^® Learn On^® philosophy, which provides inspiration and encouragement for kids to develop a sense of wonder into a lifelong passion for learning that they take with them from the Academy into their homes. The Xavier Riddle Museum Maker game teaches lessons kids can use anywhere in a way that is fun and interactive.

In April, Kiddie Academy locations nationwide will be hosting a free and fun event where your children can participate in activities that show how we make learning about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math exciting and enjoyable for all ages! Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up in May, and we want to celebrate our teachers. Please reply to this email with a heartwarming story, picture or video about why you and your child love your Kiddie Academy teacher, and it may be featured in an upcoming Kiddie Academy blog post, Parenting Essentials email, social media post or more.  

Please include your name, your child’s name (first names are fine – we don’t need a last name), as well as your Academy name and the teacher’s name (first names are fine). Pictures and videos are encouraged! By submitting photos or videos, as well as your stories, you grant Kiddie Academy Domestic Franchising, LLC and its affiliates, employees, directors, and officers, a perpetual, irrevocable, and worldwide license to use and reproduce such photos, videos, names, likenesses, and stories in any external markteting materials.
