We’re excited to start 2019 off by introducing you to Learn OnSM! Learn On focuses on how Kiddie Academy’s philosophy of fusing education with fun sparks a passion for learning that accompanies children wherever they go, for the rest of their lives. You’ll soon notice Learn On on TV, radio and online. Take a moment and watch the first two Learn On TV ads, “My Letter” and “Rock Hound.” Introducing "Rock Hound" A young girl learns about geology during a lesson and carries her enthusiasm with her from the Academy to her home. Introducing "My Letter" A child learning his alphabet starts to recognize letters – specifically the letter C – in the Academy, at home and throughout his community as he goes through the day. These and other messages like them capture the essence of Learn On. In case you missed it... Kindness is one of the key values we teach as part of Kiddie Academy’s focus on Character Education. It helps lay a foundation of understanding about how what you do can make a positive difference in the lives of others. We want to thank the Kiddie Academy students and families who performed acts of kindness in their communities. [read more] “How would you feel if that happened to you?” is a powerful question. To provide an answer, it requires the person to whom it’s asked to think about a situation from someone else’s perspective. It requires empathy. Learn more about ways you can practice empathy at home, like being a role model for your child. [read more] The hustle and bustle of the holiday season can lead to extra stress, making self-care very important during this time of the year. Make it a priority to set aside some time each day to take care of yourself. Self-care is a gift you can give to yourself that you can use year-round.
